I’m rewriting this description on October 1, 2021. I realize I was quite longwinded in trying to pursuade others per Scott Admas’s creamy suggestions to GET DOWN with original art!
What Am I Doing?
I adopted the moniker “Rodzroom” years and years ago. More than 20 years ago, when Yahoo was still a search engine and not a failed Web portal staffed by wanna-be journalists pushing fake news. This moniker has served me well in one particular way: Nobody else ever decided to use it. So, I have successfully retained and used it across most of the social platforms that “matter” (as of now). (21-10-01 fact check: probable.)
What I am doing is what I have always done since the World Wide Web was invented: Sharing my digital creations wherever I can, whenever the fancy strikes me.
What To Expect?
As far as I’m concerned, Facebook is dying a slow, painful death. Frankly, although I’m not especially controversial, I do not appreciate having to worry about my posts getting removed because my Covid-related song parodies are flagged as “medical misinformation.” (21-10-01 Comedy is dying.)
(This has not happened, yet; but, I have been most worried about “Dr. Birx Fashion Call Pt. 2 (in the style of Pink Floyd),” in which I sing, “Hey, Deborah, leave that scarf at home!”) (21-10-01 Still worried)
So, I guess what I’m asserting is that you can expect to see a continuation of my work, on a platform that represents one possible variant of what post-Facebook non-big-tech-censored media will look like. The way the Web was supposed to be to begin with, as far as I’m concerned.
